Goal:

1) Help builders and other contributors on Cardano feel recognized and appreciated for their work.

2) Promote a mission-driven and optimistic spirit in the Cardano Community

How Does Cardano Benefit?

Many builders on Cardano are working hard every day without much notice from the community and often without pay. By giving these heros of our ecosystem a shout out we can improve the morale of our most important community members and make Cardano a more attractive place for them to build and for other builders to explore. This will, over time, improve Cardano's builder activity and the commitment of Cardano projects to stay focused on our ecosystem.

Current Focuses

Note: "Activities" are series of meaningful tasks that are relatively simple and well defined. "Initiatives" are more challenging, with defined goals but no prescribed path to completion, requiring more proactivity from the contributor.

Nexus Era Awards

(Initiative)

Annually, around the time of the Cardano Summit, Nexus will choose ten members of the ecosystem to receive an award for extraordinary service and contributions to Cardano related to the focuses of one of the five eras.

Builder Shout-outs

(Activity)

Choose a Cardano builder whose work you respect or appreciate, and make a post expressing your gratitude, admiration or appreciation for them and their work.
